SHARE NOW

Dolly Parton approves of Jennifer Aniston’s planned reboot of the classic 1980 film, 9 To 5. In fact, the country star would love to be in the film, if possible. Parton was speaking at the recent CMA Fest, and revealed that she has known about Aniston’s plans to remake the movie for years now. Parton said that years ago, she went to Aniston’s home for lunch and met her dog, which the actress named Dolly Parton.

“She did talk about wanting to do that then with younger newer people,” Parton explains of Aniston’s idea for a remake. “And that possibly Jane [Fonda], Lily [Tomlin] and I — they might look us up and now that we’re older and whatever positions we’re holding, the characters that we played — and that we might get to be in it there. And I’m certainly hoping they’ll use my song.” Juno Oscar winner Diablo Cody is writing the screenplay and Aniston is producing the film. No word yet on a release date.  (Taste of Country)
