The MD of Bonnyville has decided to cut off any more requests to hook up to the MD and Cold Lake waterline. The waterline, which will continue to serve Ardmore and Fort Kent, is becoming overused and can't handle much more in terms of hookups.

For now, no more new hookups will take place due to overwhelming the current line, although the decision could be overturned should there be any upgrades made, an agreement with another municipality to bring a bigger line in, or if council were convinced to change it's decision.
